Johnny's Pizza (Cary)

Overall Rating: 2.9/10 A disappointing dining experience overall, with the quality and taste of the food not living up to the friendly staff and attractive setting of the restaurant. Atmosphere / Service: 6.2/10 The restaurant features a pleasing aesthetic with outdoor seating, an upstairs area, and a clean environment. The staff were friendly, though the paper menu was difficult to read. The person taking the order did not recommend drinks, which was a forgotten order. When thirsty, i got bottled water from the car. Food: Margherita Pizza: 1.2/10 This pizza was a letdown, visually unappealing with green, unripe tomatoes and baked basil. I’d prefer fresh basil to be served fresh. The taste was undesirable, despite having a crispy crust. Philly Steak & Cheese: 2.1/10 The dish was overwhelmed by an excessive amount of seasoning, which overshadowed what could have been a good portion and an okay presentation. Appetizer Sampler: 1.2/10 The quality was reminiscent of low-end frozen food. The fried ravioli lacked flavor, and the chicken was extremely dry, significantly diminishing the overall appeal. Value: 2.9/10 The pricing ($49 for three items) did not reflect the quality of the food. The appetizer sampler, priced at $12, offered little value and was comparable to cheaper, yet better-tasting options from a grocery store.

I stopped in to Johnny's Pizza for lunch and it was delightful! The 10" pepperoni pizza was a perfect lunch with some leftover for a cold pizza snack. The pizza had a thin crust that was crispy on the edges and easy to fold with just the right amount of cheese and a generous amount of pepperoni. The staff was friendly and attentive. If you're in the mood for a delicious lunch or craving some mouthwatering pizza, I highly recommend giving Johnny's Pizza a try. I'll definitely be back soon and can't wait to try something else on the menu.

A great environment. The staff interacted with my son and we got to see through the window how they make the pizzas fresh every minute. They also let me get the lunch special at dinner time. 2 large slices with one topping and a drink for under $7. Note that the pizza is made fresh. I thought getting two single slices would be <10 minutes but I was wrong. It took around 30 minutes for me to get my food. Deliciousness takes time.

Walked in with my friends and I first time going to eat at Johnny's Pizza 🍕. We were greeted by Abby and Emma helped us with the order. We got a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza with the Buffalo Shrimp. The buffalo shrimp wasn't the best but the cheese pizza makes up for it. Johnny's Pizza is spectacularly different than big corporate chain pizza places. The atmosphere has a chill hangout spirit to it where you can talk for hours. The place was clean; although, our table was sticky the pizza made up for it. The pizza was filling not too thick, not too thin just crisp and delicious. Thank you Johnny's Pizza for having us.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Johnny's Pizza in Cary, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The decor was tasteful and modern, with plenty of seating options for both small and large groups. But the real standout at Johnny's Pizza is the food. I tried several dishes during my visit, and each one was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The pizza was a particular highlight, with a crispy crust and generous toppings. But the appetizers and salads were also impressive, with fresh ingredients and creative flavor combinations. What really made my visit to Johnny's Pizza special, though, was the level of customer service I received from the staff. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. All in all, I highly recommend Johnny's Pizza in Cary to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's a true gem in the local dining scene, and I look forward to returning soon. I give it five stars

I’ve lived in Cary for a year and a half and we have pizza night frequently. We’ve tried multiple pizza places that are highly reviewed. All of them came out subpar. I ordered Johnny’s to go and and once I got home and took a bite I said to my girlfriend, “this is what I have been looking for.” I have now found my favorite pizza restaurant around here. I do not say that lightly. I am genuinely impressed.

Went in for lunch on a Sunday and it was basically empty. The pizza was great though, and with the lunch special, it was a great price! For a total of 4 slices (which are very big) and 2 fountain drinks, it was just $15. The lunch special currently costs (as of 7/30/2023) $7.58 after tax for 2 slices with 1 topping each and 1 drink.
